I need some help importing a corrupted 151a7 pool.

151a7 is running inside a smartos kvm zone.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

-d option takes a directory (d) as its argument. The default directory is /dev/dsk, so you shouldn't need -d at all.
format above says this device is unknown, which usually means it does not have a recognizable label.
p0 is normally the whole disk's fdisk partition. You should try the slices instead.

For all the slices I get "cannot open '/dev/rdsk/c4d1s15': No such
device or address"

Well, that sounds like the problem. If the device isn't there, then
you'll get that error message (eg, you see it on removable media that
is removed). OTOH, if the partition size is zero, then you'll get:
cannot open '/dev/rdsk/blah': I/O error

What does format say about the partition tables?
